Telkomsat Held Blood Donation Activities and Free Health Checks
Cibubur - Thursday, October 10th, 2019, Telkomsat with PMI Bogor and Telkom Medika held a blood donation and free healthy check. This activity is one of a series of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs that the company routinely carries out annually.
The event took place at the Telkomsat Support Office, JL. Pringgondani II No.33 Alternatif Cibubur, Depok. And it was attended by Telkomsat employees, business partners, as well as some people who live in the vicinity of the office.
The blood donor activity begins with the health examination of prospective donors which includes weighing, blood pressure, blood type and blood hemoglobin (Hb) levels. To expedite the blood donor process, the PMI presented one general practitioner and a medical team equipped with 6 (six) cot.
By donating blood, not only benefit recipients donors but also get extraordinary benefits. Among other things, reduce excess iron in the body, reduce the risk of heart disease, and make the body healthier and fitter. Blood donating also allows for new blood changes so that the body's metabolism can be smooth.
On the same occasion, donors received a free health check-up facility from the Telkom Medika team, which included checking blood sugar, uric acid, and cholesterol levels.
