Telkomsat Supports the Ararkula Team in the CanSat Competition in the USA
Texas, United States - Telkomsat supports the Telkom University Ararkula Team in developing space technology through the CanSat Competition at the end of June 2019. The event was organized by the American Astronautical Society (AAS) and was attended by 43 universities from various countries around the world.
This year, the CanSat Competition uses the mission "Auto Gyro Probe" which was launched at an altitude of 670 meters to 752 meters in Stephenvilie, Texas, United States. CanSat is a type of rocket load used in miniature satellites and the launch process does not pass through the atmosphere and orbit as satellite. The Ararkula Team must be able to design and make a CanSat in accordance with the conditions set by the organizer.
The participation of the Ararkula Team is expected to bring the name of Telkom University and Indonesia to life. In addition, it is expected to be a motivation for other students to further develop the knowledge gained from the campus so that it has a positive impact on the advancement of science and technology.
