100 Smart city movement program through support digitalization with Telkomsat
Jakarta - As a commitment to realize a digital-based society, Telkomsat together with Telkom Group agreed and fully supported the "Gerakan nasional menju 100 smart City" which took place at Balai Sudirman, Jakarta, on 4 - 6 November 2019.
In this event, Telkomsat presented Mangoesky and TSAT Zone products as supporters of the Smart City Nusantara program conducted by Telkom. Smart City program is a very important program because it has big impacted, it is not only for 100 participants, but also for other local governments. This program is specifically for villages that have not yet been reached by ADSL cable, optical fiber and high-speed cellular services.
The Smart City program has been carried out by Telkom and the Telkom Group on many opportunities, which of one is through Living Lab Smart City Nusantara, a facility that provides guidance and know-how on how to implement smart city implementation to stakeholders of the Smart City specifically the local government, which has been developed since 2016. This is Telkom's and Telkom Group's commitment to support for digital transformation in the local government sector and to accelerate the use of ICT technology in realizing better cities and regions.
Living Lab Smart City Nusantara facility was developed through the support of Telkom's synergy with other companies. Stakeholders can invite and participate in Smart City developments activities, in the form of knowledge sharing, implementation discussions, to technical and business innovations. This is expected to foster a collaborative spirit in order to accelerate the development of Indonesia's digital society.
