Approaching Christmas 2023, Telkomsat Organizes CSR at the Yayasan Bhakti Kasih Abba Orphanage
Bogor - Telkomsat, through its "Telkomsat Shares" program, has demonstrated its commitment to social and environmental responsibility by organizing a corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity at the Panti Asuhan Yayasan Bhakti Kasih Abba orphanage, located at Jl. Sindang Resmi No.06, Bondongan, South Bogor District, Bogor City. The event took place on Monday, December 4, 2023, and was attended by the VP of Human Capital Management and Chair of the Telkomsat Berbagi Team, Yazid Saktiono, along with team members.
During this event, Telkomsat successfully distributed various forms of aid, including grocery packages and snacks, bathing supplies, and air conditioners. This activity represents Telkomsat's genuine concern for the 72 children from various regions in Indonesia residing at the Panti Asuhan Yayasan Bhakti Kasih Abba, as well as the 18 staff members supporting the orphanage's operations.
The Telkomsat Shares team's presence was warmly welcomed by the Head of the Foundation, Agus Supriatmono. In his address, Agus expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for the support provided by Telkomsat. "Thank you for the gifts for the children of Panti Asuhan Yayasan Bhakti Kasih Abba, it's extraordinary to be able to celebrate Christmas with joy, thank you for your love and kindness to us. May (the Telkomsat team) always be given health and their work be felt by many people, for the rest, God will account for the goodness of all of you."
Yazid Saktiono, representing the Telkomsat Shares team, also expressed appreciation to the caretakers at Panti Asuhan Yayasan Bhakti Kasih Abba. “What Telkomsat provides is nothing compared to the efforts of the friends managing here, taking care of 72 children is truly extraordinary. Our happiness is in knowing that the donation has been received by the siblings here."
