Telkomsat Acquires TSGN Stocks From Telin

Jakarta - On August 19, 2020, Telkomsat signed a CSPA (Conditional Share Purchase Agreement) transferring 36% of TSGN stocks from Telin to Telkomsat. The transfer of TSGN company stocks from Telin to Telkomsat is the last phase in the TelkomGroup satellite business consolidation process in which all satellite business management is carried out by Telkomsat.

The process of signing the stocks transfer was carried out by the President Director of Telkomsat - Endi Fitri Herlianto and CEO of Telin - Sukardi Silalahi, and witnessed by the President Director of Telkom Indonesia - Ririek Adriansyah, Director of Wholesale & International Service (WINS) - Dian Rachmawan, Director of Enterprise & Business Service (EBIS) - Edi Witjara and Director of Strategic Portfolio (SP) Budi Setyawan Wijaya, in the Vision Room of Telkom Landmark Tower Jakarta.

Since acquiring TSGN in 2018, Telin and Telkomsat have jointly managed TSGN until the transfer of stocks to Telkomsat. TSGN (TS Global Network Sdn Bhd) is a satellite company based in Malaysia that is growing globally, TSGN has corporate customers from various industries such as plantations, mining, government and banking, as well as TSGN has affiliated companies in Brunei and Myanmar. .

This corporate action opens an opportunity for Telkomsat to realize its dream of becoming a major player in the satellite business, in line with the company's strategic goal of becoming the top 3 satellite service providers in Asia in 2022.
