Telkomsat and Forsikatel Distribute Free Iftar Meals to Road Users in Bogor City
Bogor - In the spirit of sharing joy during the holy month of Ramadan, PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia (Telkomsat) together with the Forsikatel held an activity to distribute free iftar meals to road users. This social action was carried out right in front of the Telkomsat Bogor Office, on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
This sharing activity is part of Telkomsat and Forsikatel's commitment to contributing socially to the community. More than 150 iftar meals have been successfully distributed to passing road users, as a form of care and sharing blessings during Ramadan.
"The distribution of free iftar meals is a real manifestation of our concern for others, especially in this blessed month," said AVP of Corcom & OS at Telkomsat, Diah Eni Puspitawati. "We hope this activity can provide benefits and blessings for those who are fasting," she added.
The majority of the recipients of these free iftar meals are road users who are in the middle of their daily routines, including cleaners, taxi drivers, online motorcycle taxi drivers, and other workers who are still on duty approaching iftar time.
This activity is not just about distributing iftar meals, but is also a moment to strengthen the ties between Telkomsat employees, Forsikatel and the surrounding community. It is one of a series of social activities initiated by Telkomsat and Forsikatel, as part of the company and community's social responsibility.
