Telkomsat Attends the Satellite Roadmap Harmonization Meeting and Satellite Meeting Cellular in Indo

Depok - Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in collaboration with the Directorate of Post and Information Technology Resources and Devices (SDPPI) Ministry of Communication and Information Technology invites representatives of satellite and cellular operators in activities titled "Satellite Roadmap Harmonization Meeting and Satellite Meeting Cellular in Indonesia "which took place at The Margo Hotel, Depok, West Java on 15 October 2019.

Telkomsat was present as part of the Telkom Group which manages the business and operations of satellite services, at the meeting presented a study of the importance of satellite services for Indonesia. At the meeting Telkomsat was represented by VP System Planning & Management - Suroso Yulianto, AVP Spectrum Planning & Management - Risdianto Yuli Hermansyah, Officer-2 Spectrum Planning & Management - Lutfijamil Setiawan.

As an archipelago, satellite technology is present as the most effective communication service connecting all regions of Indonesia which also has relatively high humidity and rainfall characteristics.

This unique condition of Indonesia makes satellite services with the C-Band frequency spectrum a service that can meet communication needs with a reliable level of reliability, and is the best solution for the military, banking industry and also for post-disaster telecommunications infrastructure recovery.
