Telkomsat Held a "Kick Off Audit of ISO 9001:45001"

Cibinong - Telkomsat held a "kick off audit of ISO 9001:45001" on December 14, 2021 at the Telkomsat Satellite Control Center, Cibinong. ISO 9001 is the standard for the general quality of the company, and ISO 45001 is related to the standard of implementation through the company's K3 (Occupational Health and Safety). The external audit will be conducted online by a team of auditors from Tuv Rheinland on 14 - 15 December 2021.

Starting this kick off event, VP IARM - Jove Meldi introduced the auditor team to the management and Senior Leaders of Telkomsat and explained the things that the auditor team would do and also the timeline for the implementation of the external audit.

Telkomsat has started its activities by conducting an internal audit in September 2021 to minimize findings. Findings are divided into three (3) types, namely the 1st is a major finding, if it is not in accordance with the standard requirements of the Management System that should be implemented, corrective action must be taken immediately, then the second is a minor finding, namely if the procedure is not carried out consistently. This is often caused by human error so that it has a serious impact on the management system, its nature must be repaired with a certain time limit and the last is OFI which is only for repairs.

The kick off was carried out by the CEO of Telkomsat - Endi Fitri Herlianto who hopes that Telkomsat can continue to maintain quality services through quality that is in accordance with international standards.

With the external audit of ISO 9001:45001, it is hoped that Telkomsat can always maintain service quality in accordance with the quality standards that have been set so that the goal of becoming the largest satellite company in the Region can be realized immediately.
